GREENHOUSE GAS REPORTING SUPPORT Help with new EPA Mandatory reporting for 2010
The EPA issued a final rule for Mandatory Reporting of Greenhouse Gases (GHG) in on September 22, 2009.
Data collection and record keeping begins January 1, 2010, with the first annual report deadline set for March 31, 2011. Several thousand businesses will be required to report. This is completely new for everyone and many businesses will feel they lack the capacity to be ready in such a short time frame.
Carbon Shrinks can help you get started with your reporting. Our GHG Reporting Toolkit and Support Service are founded on our detailed understanding of the EPA Rule for all industries.
Compliance Toolkit
For only $500 you can get our polished, professional record keeping tools. We tailor them to your facility by asking you questions by phone. The tools include:
1. Your EPA-required written GHG Monitoring Plan.
2. Your 2010 Data Collection spreadsheet for you to record every item required for the year. EPA formulae for relevant subparts are embedded to allow you to calculate results for quality assurance review.
3. Your 2010 Calendar of data collection tasks.
Compliance Support Service
The fixed price fee for individualized training and support starts at $2,000 per facility and varies according to complexity. In a series of 4-6 weekly sessions you will receive:
1. An initial 2-hour briefing to go over all of the steps you need to consider for the 2010 reporting year.
2. Support Plan set up, whereby you select from various options for more or less support in each of the steps. We work with you to set up a plan for providing support in exactly the way that suits you.
3. A mixture of on-site visits to work with your environmental and regulatory staff, and remote web-based support sessions covering both the pre-requisite steps and the measurement, recordkeeping and reporting steps.
4. A Carbon Shrinks Quality Assurance Review. In early 2011, you have the option of having Carbon Shrinks conduct a Quality Assurance Review of all of your procedures, recordkeeping, reporting and related calculation details prior to you submitting your first report to the EPA.
There is no need to "go it alone" in figuring out this new federal regulation for reporting. Once you get a helping hand from the professionals at Carbon Shrinks for the first reporting year, you should feel confident about your capacity to continue doing future year's reporting.
